We take extra care with every fence post foundation, digging well below the frost line (4 feet in Ontario) to prevent water from freezing and shifting the foundation over time.
To keep your fence posts dry and sturdy, we set the foundation collar 1–2 inches above ground level with a slight slope outward, ensuring water drains away instead of pooling.
For added durability, we secure posts in concrete with about 6 inches of rock or gravel at the base, minimizing moisture exposure and helping your fence stand strong for years to come.
Quality matters to us! That’s why we air-dry and store all fence posts and treated wood for at least 15 days before using them. This small but thoughtful step helps prevent cracking and extends the life of your fence.
If you’re at work while we’re building, don’t worry—we’ll take photos of every hole we dig and are happy to share them upon request. Your peace of mind is important to us!
We take pride in using the best techniques to build a fence that stands the test of time.
Instead of using hangers as a shortcut, our team carefully cuts wood frames to the exact length and securely screws them to the posts for added strength and durability.
We use hot-dip galvanized nails for fence boards and cap every post with a protective post cap. Our panels are spaced 2 ½" apart and sit 1" off the ground to promote airflow and prevent moisture buildup.
When the job is done, we don’t just leave—we remove all dirt and old panels and ensure a thorough cleanup so your yard looks as good as new.
Have flower bushes or trees near the fence line? We do our very best to protect them throughout the construction process because we care about your space as much as you do!

We believe that a great fence starts with great materials, which is why we carefully select only high-quality materials from trusted, industry-leading suppliers.
Treated wood can sometimes crack, twist, or warp due to weather, but we take extra steps to prevent that. All our materials are stored indoors and air-dried for at least two weeks before construction day. Before anything reaches your job site, our team thoroughly inspects every piece to ensure it meets our high standards.
We stand by our work! Every fence post we install is backed by our Workmanship Warranty, giving you peace of mind that your fence is built to last.
To keep your fence looking beautiful and preserve its natural color, we recommend applying a UV-resistant stain every four years. Not only does this help maintain its fresh appearance, but it also protects against cracking, splitting, and warping—keeping your fence strong and sturdy for years to come!
BY-LAWS
Most backyard fences and gates do not require a construction permit. However, if you have a swimming pool, we warmly recommend checking your local bylaws for specific regulations on fence heights and styles to ensure compliance.
When building your fence, we follow the existing fence line and align it with your land survey. If there’s any disagreement with your neighbours about property boundaries, we kindly suggest hiring a professional land survey company to clearly determine the legal property lines. This helps ensure a smooth and stress-free process for everyone involved!
